Thanksgiving Godmother

 Libby loves baby Cole her only younger cousin. She likes to give him lots of love. By the look in his eyes I am not sure he like it as much as she does.

Not only do I get to be an aunt and enjoy time with our visiting nephews, but also I get to be a godmother. Not a fairy godmother but even better. The Robinsons have entrusted me to encourage the spiritual life of Cole Jacob Robinson. Secretly I plan to do that for all of their boys as well as the Norris kids. I am honored to be a part of their life and see Libby grow up with them. She obviously adores them say "again, again...". Thanksgiving reminded us how thankful we are for one another. If you only had today what you thanked God for yesterday, what would you be left with?

Flower Girl

Auntie Jordie is now Mrs. Caleb Fintel. 

 Mommy/Daughter hugs and kisses. We are getting ready for a really special day to celebrate what God has brought together. 

 Flower Girl and Ring Bearer playing, smiling, holding hands...wow they act like they have done this before.

 Hold on, wait 25 more years,  hands off little man.  

At least we know they know how to follow directions. 

Look at those size 6 heels, can you believe she is wearing heels already?

 I love how beautiful she looks here with those bright blue eyes. The most adorable flower girl EVER! Only to be outdone by the Bride. 

 

 They made it all the way up the isle. Taking a moment to pause and check out the crowd and take in the moment. Libby held Laken's hand and her flower ball in the other. All the way to the front and then back to Baby Beckham . We knew that would happen so Daddy was sitting in the 2nd row with the Abegglan family. Libby immediately went to her spot and shouted "BABY"! She made it almost all the way through the ceremony.

 Time to dance! Good thing she has been practicing at home. Time to dance with Daddy. Her hero! 

What a beautiful bride. For this day we have prayed!

Happy Halloween

"Little Pumpkin Girl" features Libby as a flower, kitty, pumpkin and princess. She is all of those to us. She particularly enjoys seeing herself on every page of that book.

 Grammy & Grandpa joined us for 2011 Trick or Treating!

Meow, Libby the Kitty enjoyed her wagon ride door to door on Halloween.

she shook the backside of her costume as her legs raced up each path. When she reached the door she kocked as we practiced. Then she smiled and said hi to her Dundee neighbors on Nicholas Street. She held onto that candy for dear life and said "Thank you" unprompted. Grandpa even gave her a KitKat Bar.

Pumpkin carving...what a messy treat. Libby was a great helper!

October 30th was the Skyline Ranches Halloween Party. Our Honey Bee Princess enjoyed her first time in a bounce house and time with her friends Ana and Amina Teri.

Go Huskers! Our Husker cheerleader played with Will Nabity, a Husker football player (isn't that convenient) & Hudson & Lucas White, Thing 1 & Thing 2 to celebrate our NU winning season &Halloween.

Papa's work (First Data Corp.) hosted a Trick or Treat for family to visit FDR offices/cubicles.

Really Papa just wanted to show Libby off to his work friends. She obvisouly had a great time!

Libby is SOOO BIG this fall. 2011 Vala's Pumpkin Patch was even more fun this year in the sea of corn. I can't even imagine how big/tall she will be next year!

Halloween takes on a whole new meaning with children. Enjoy the fun of the changing seasons.

By the way much like her parents, Libby loves sugar.

Football Fans

 Go Huskers! Libby is cheering for the BIG 10!

 Great Grandpa loved the Hawkeyes just like our neighbors the Bosworths. Libby and Briley are not even aware they are now BIG rivals. 

 Libby is practicing her cheerleading. Aunt Kylee needs to teach her the Clemson fight song. I think her cheering has paid off this season, Go Tigers! 

 Libby got the remote. Instead of turning on the game she is using it to call in the next play...what will she play with next.
