Mommy's Birthday!

On Mommy's birthday I had my first Kolache! A tradition passed along by generations of Kubiceks...eating. Next up blood sausage!

Mommy also got to hang out with me for lunch then the zoo and finally at Kona for sushi, my other favorite.

Waving with Friends

Libby is so excited to play with her toys with her twin friend Carmie. Hello, she waves as if to invite you to play too. Do you have a brown and pink dress you could wear too? All the fun we will have... Come over any time and play. Libby loves to have friends.

Lent - not in your belly button

Easter is coming! Spring and the promise of Easter are right around the corner. We now begin the official countdown to the most important day in the Christian calendar. I can't wait for Libby to understand this joy. Christ overcame the grave. As we study the glory of God and look forward to Heaven we read 1 Corinthians 15 and more. The promise of Heaven and the glory of our God is what we live for.

Mama

The most beautiful name I have ever been called. Yes, it was even directed at me, by my 9 month old daughter. Libby you know how to make me feel so special. Mamamamamama did you hear the birds singing right along with it. That is what is sounds like in my ear. It rings purer and sweeter than any other. It goes along with her reaching for me...arching her back to get out of her seat to me faster...beautiful blue eyes lighting up when they catch a glimpse of me and more. That is my girl. What unspeakable joy. I am a Mama! Thank you, Libby those words are music to my ears.

Clap

The joyful sound of praise. Psalm 47:1 "Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy."

Libby was waving both hands (which is the sign langauge for clapping) and has now figured out how to bring them together. This envokes our claps of praise for her accomplishment. Way to go Libby, clap your hands!
